Grandma Trudy

Full size Trudy monkey. 


The first monkey to live with us was made by my husband's mother Grandma Trudy. She passed away many years ago but I'm sure she would have gotten a kick out of me following in the monkey tradition. I called my kids who are in college now to ask if they still had the monkey and happily they did, so they sent me the photos of it.
So the legacy continues...

Grandma Trudy made this monkey in the early '80's and it was the first monkey to move in with us.

I just had some ideas for new monkeys. So I'm working on a pirate, a jester, a hippy, and my Aunt Wanda. Now that the holidays are over, I can start taking orders again.

New monkeys

I'm about ready to make five new monkeys in anticipation of the Halcyon Craft Fair on Nov. 12 and 13th in Halcyon CA (near Santa Maria). I'm doing the show with my daughter and I can't wait.
